Pomodoro Team Sprints for Remote Groups

Overview

Synchronized focus blocks over video chat boost team accountability. Share timer links in Slack.

Start the shared block together and mute the channel until the break. A team timer only works if everyone can see the same end.

How to use it

  1. Open Pomodoro Timer.
  2. Write the task in the label, start the block, and leave chat and extra tabs until it ends.
  3. Keep Online Timer or Focus Timer for a second phase.

Good to know

A focus timer does not make a vague task clearer. If you cannot say what “done” looks like, fix that before you press start.
