Email Batch Timers for Inbox Control

Overview

Check email twice daily in timed windows instead of constantly. Timers enforce communication boundaries.

Open the inbox only when the timer starts, and close it when the timer ends. Twenty minutes is enough for a batch.

How to use it

  1. Open Pomodoro Timer.
  2. Write the task in the label, start the block, and leave chat and extra tabs until it ends.
  3. Keep Online Timer or Focus Timer for a second phase.

Good to know

A focus timer does not make a vague task clearer. If you cannot say what “done” looks like, fix that before you press start.

The tools are free on the TimerClock home page. Settings stay in this browser. The privacy policy explains what is stored.
