Five seconds is a get-ready cue for a race start, a slide change, or a classroom freeze. This 5 Second Timer opens on that length. Press Start, pause with Space, and reset with R.
How to use it
- Open 5 Second Timer and check the time or fields at the top before you start.
- Press Start, or the main action button. Space starts and pauses on timer pages. R resets.
- Turn sound on if you need an alarm, then try it once so the browser allows audio.
- Use fullscreen when someone across the room needs to read the screen.
Good to know
The countdown follows your device clock while this tab stays open. If the phone locks or the browser pauses the tab, the alarm can be late. Keep the screen awake for anything short or time-critical.
